In their lyophilised (powder) state, peptides are extremely stable and can be stored at -20C for several years without significant degradation. Once reconstituted into a liquid solution, stability is peptide-dependent but typically reduces to approximately 30 days when stored at 2-8C.
Upon Receipt: Store lyophilised vials immediately in a freezer at -20C for long-term preservation.
Post-Reconstitution: Once mixed with a solvent, the solution must be stored in a refrigerator at 2-8C. Avoid repeat freeze/thaw cycles.
No. Lyophilised peptides are highly stable and can withstand room temperature (and even higher temperatures) for several weeks during transit without loss of potency. We recommend moving them to cold storage (-20C) upon arrival to maximise their long-term lifespan.
Lyophilisation is a freeze-drying process that removes water from the peptide solution under vacuum, leaving a stable, sterile powder cake. This is the pharmaceutical gold standard for preserving structural integrity and purity during transport and storage.

It is completely normal for different research compounds to have varying physical textures. Depending on the specific amino acid sequence and the freeze-drying process, the contents may appear as a solid "cake," a loose powder, or even small crystals.
It is important to understand that the actual peptide molecules are microscopic and essentially invisible to the naked eye. What you are primarily seeing in the vial is the "bulking agent" or filler. This is added during the manufacturing process to provide structure to the lyophilised cake and to ensure that the small amount of active peptide can be handled and measured accurately in a laboratory setting. The appearance of this filler can vary significantly from batch to batch, but it has no impact on the purity or concentration of the peptide itself.
Cloudiness is a natural characteristic of certain peptides, especially peptides that are "hydrophobic" and does not indicate a lack of quality. Some compounds are highly sensitive to pH levels. Whilst we can't give specific advice, if your solution 'gels' or appears cloudy, many researchers find that using a drop of dilute acetic acid helps achieve a clear solution.

Shipping & Logistics
Orders placed before 2:00 PM GMT (Monday-Friday) are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after this cutoff or on weekends are dispatched the next working day.
We use 24 hour tracked delivery. While this is aimed at next-working-day delivery for the UK mainland, please allow 1-2 business days. You will receive an email directly from the courier with your tracking number once they have processed the parcel.
Yes. All orders are shipped in unbranded, plain packaging. There is no mention of the contents or “Peptides” on the exterior shipping label.
Currently, we ship exclusively to the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland). We do not ship to the USA or EU at this time.
Due to the temperature-sensitive and contamination-prone nature of research compounds, we cannot accept returns once a product has left our chain of custody. This policy ensures that every vial you receive from us is fresh, pristine, and has never been handled by another customer. If there is a logistical error with your order, please contact us immediately.

Secure Open Banking
Instant, secure payments authorised directly in your banking app. You receive immediate confirmation, we never see or store your login details, and it helps us keep fees low.
Bank Transfer (BACS)
Send a standard bank transfer using the details provided at checkout. Please use your order number as the payment reference. If you are paying from a different account, let us know so we can match the payment quickly.
You will receive an order confirmation email instantly. If you pay via Open Banking, this is also your payment confirmation. If you pay via Bank Transfer, we will send an order confirmation once payment is confirmed. You will receive an email directly from the courier with your tracking number once they have processed the parcel.

Yes. Open Banking is the most secure way to pay. You authenticate the payment directly within your own bank’s app (using FaceID or your PIN). We never see or store your login details. It is a direct, encrypted transfer approved by the UK financial conduct authority.
We operate primarily as a direct-to-researcher retailer and do not offer unbranded wholesale kits. However, we do offer Multi-Buy Pricing on our product pages for researchers requiring larger volumes (e.g., 5+ vials). For institutional enquiries, please contact us directly.

Compliance & Usage
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signalling molecules in biological pathways. In a laboratory setting, synthetic peptides are used as reagents to investigate cellular processes, metabolic regulation, and tissue regeneration in in-vitro (test tube/petri dish) environments.
Strictly no. All products sold by Forge Peptides are classified as Research Reagents for in-vitro laboratory use only. They are not intended for human consumption, and we are strictly prohibited from providing advice on dosing, injection, or physiological application. Any communication implying human use will result in a refusal of service.
Our peptides are supplied as a pure lyophilised powder. To use them in a research setting, they must be reconstituted with a laboratory solvent (such as Bacteriostatic Water). We supply this separately to ensure you have the correct ratio for your specific experimental protocols.
